What’s Up With That PoolDawg Chalk?

On April 8, 2009, in Billiards Products, by Michael Feiman

PoolDawg Master ChalkIts a question that comes up quite a bit, especially when we’re at shows giving the stuff out, so I thought I’d put up a little FAQ about our own special run of Master Chalk:

Q: Is this stuff really Master Chalk?
A: Yes, it is.
Q: No seriously, what kind of chalk is it?
A: Master Chalk.
Q: Really?
A: Really.
Q: How come its cheaper to buy than regular Master Chalk?
A: Mostly because we love our customers. Also, because we know that it will get left on tables and maybe someone who hasn’t heard of us before will pick it up, use it and come to the conclusion that both PoolDawg and Master Chalk are totally awesome.
Q: OK, but are you sure its real Master Chalk.
A: Yes.
Q: Really?
A: Really.
Q: Sweet! Where can I get some?
A: http://www.pooldawg.com/product/pooldawg-blue-master-chalk-12-
Q: How much is it?
A: 3 Bucks
Q: For real Master Chalk?
A: Yes.
Q: Really?
A: Really.
Q: Will you be giving it away next month at the BCAPL Championships?
A: You’ll have to stop by the booth to find out, but yes.

PoolDawg Bestseller Series – Chalk

On January 23, 2009, in Billiards Products, by Michael Feiman

When it comes to pool cue chalk, there are only a couple of names that are really well known across the board – Master Chalk and Silver Cup Chalk.  Chalk seems to be one of the most polarizing products we sell.  People who use Master refuse to use Silver Cup and vice versa.

chm12From a popularity perspective, there is only one true champion.  In 2008, we saw Master Chalk fly off the shelves at a rate of almost 3 to 1 in comparison to Silver Cup and that’s not even figuring in our special PoolDawg Master Chalk!  Naturally, we like ‘em both, but if you’re looking for the people’s choice when it comes to billiards chalk, grab a box of Masters.
