A few weeks ago I was flipping through my copy of Pool and Billiards Magazine and came across this nifty little tool called the Junior Shark. Since we’re always wanting to try out new products, I fired off an email to the creator, Jill Wylie. We talked a bit about the product and I decided to give it a try.
Here’s the deal with the Junior Shark. The whole purpose of it is to teach basic form and protect your cloth from those unruly kids seem to have a knack for tearing holes whenever they play. The Junior Shark slides over the tip and acts as a guide. Its similar to how the EZ Bridge works, except there isn’t the same level of flexibility for hitting with top or bottom english. The tool forces you to hit center, restricting the amount of english you can put on the ball.
If your kid is new to the game, this is the perfect way to get started as it really does a nice job helping you train your stroke. Plus, its only five bucks, so its totally worth a try.
