Don’t know where else to ask; can you give me some reliable information
about my Rich Cue? I bought it new almost forty years ago and would like to know its value in today’s market. The butt has Mother-of-Pearl
inlays and came with two shafts: one is about a half-inch longer than
the other and has a 13mm tip and the other has a 13.5mm tip. I know
that Abe Rich died some years back and the name of his shop had been
changed to Star Cue Mfg., but their phone number is no good. Any good
info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Hi Joe. I’m not familiar with Rich cues, but your best bet would be to go to the AZ Billiards forums at http://forums.azbilliards.com. They are extremely knowledgeable about custom cues over there and should be able to help you out!

  3. Marty Haste says:

How could you mention low deflection shafts without even mentioning the Meucci Black dot shaft. I have seen the black dot shaft screwed on the end of a BROOM and out perform the “predator 314 shaft “. Here is the link if anyone is interestedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCHkZOmO-0s

  4. Hi Marty. There’s quite a bit of controversy around that black dot shaft video and the robot that was used to test the shafts. Meucci tends to be one of the more polarizing brands, as people seem to either love their shafts or really find them difficult to play with.
