The 2nd generation has been re-engineered to reduce cue ball deflection even more. This makes it even easier to pocket balls using English. They have also changed the type of tip that comes on them to a Tiger Everest Tip. This standard tip is not multi-layered. This improves hardness consistency, reduces mushrooming, and increases the life of the tip. Predator has also changed the type of ferrules on the 2nd generation from a Isoplast to a Titam ferrule. This is a stronger material that is more resistant to scratching, chalk stains, and damage. It is also short in order to increase accuracy. Finally the joint insert has been changed from a wood to phonolic joint insert. This gives the shaft more durability and a more solid feel.
